The Super 8 by Wyndham S Jordan/Sandy/Slc Area receives mixed reviews, primarily highlighting cleanliness and service concerns, alongside occasional positive feedback regarding location and staff friendliness. Many guests report issues with dirty rooms, lack of housekeeping, and unresolved billing disputes, while a small number praise the staff and convenient location. Overall, the property’s value proposition seems questionable given the reported problems.

I booked this hotel for a full week, and honestly, it was a very bad experience. From day one, the room was dirty and no cleaning was ever done during my entire stay. No bed changes, no bathroom cleaning, and absolutely no housekeeping service at all. In simple terms—there is no service. The worst part: my $100 security deposit has still not been refunded, even though I was told it would be returned within a week. I checked out only one hour late (12 PM), despite paying for the full week in advance, and instead of any understanding or flexibility, I was charged a $40 penalty. Overall, this place has no cleanliness, no respect for guests, and no professional service. I do NOT recommend it to anyone—especially if you expect to get what you pay for.

I was in town for a week and this was one of the cheapest options that I saw. I picked super 8 since the hotel had a key card to enter the property, one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Unfortunately, both doors locks were broken so anyone could enter the building at any time. Luckily, they fixed this after three days but keep in mind they might not be on or working. Seemed like people came and left the property that where not staying there. maybe call ahead and make sure that the locks are working. because they seem to be turned off for whatever reason. I ended up leaving a day early. Love to somehow get a discount for those first three days where clients of guest would visit throughout the day and night, for quick visits…… if I would of known I would of gone next door or else where

Joseph working the front desk was amazing. Super polite and friendly. He went above and beyond to check-in myself and my daughter for our 3 day stay. Definitely worth our trip. Thank you so much!

Paper thin walls. You’ll hear everything going on in the rooms around you. I’m not exaggerating. Outlets not working, damp smell, rude owner. They don’t care if you have a service dog. They want their fee. Police always present. Steer clear

My bed is hard as a rock. Nothing terrible. Carpet, that goes up the wall a little at the bottom has come out. And there are nails showing priceways, it's good location is good. Our window does not lock to the outside. It can be opened. My wife said she figured out how to lock it.

The entire lobby smells super bad and the brunette woman who works the counter has zero customer service skills. Instead of just talking to me and explaining policies she said things like “people who travel know that”. She lost a weeks worth of pay to the hotel next store cause she couldn’t just be polite to someone trying to check in with two babies exhausted at 4am. It’s not that hard. I gladly would have paid $75 to check in early, but if that’s how you’re treated right when you walk in, on top of the smell in there, yeah no thanks.

Listen you get exactly what you pay for. Dont go in with high expectations. Rooms could use some updating. The beds could use some extra padding. But overall the hotel did exactly what I needed it to do. Cheap simple breakfast. Waffles and cereal. Nothing else. Cheap and affordable. Water was hot, a/c and heat worked. Vending machines and washer and dryers downstairs. Pools are clean and water is warm. Dont come in expecting luxury you get what you pay for. Clean sheets and towels. Most importantly the staff are super friendly and will do almost anything they can to accommodate your needs within reason. I asked for a few extra pillows and sheets and they didn't hesitate.

So take in mind I did call super 8 , which automatically put me in contact at this hotel not the correct one. I have made a police report. I thought they put me in contact with the correct hotel. So first off the employee seemed very skiddish/ nervous, she told me she was new. I was especially nice, who knows what or if she even told the the manager that I called screaming. Complete lies from him or her. He calls me back' realizes tells me it's the wrong hotel and then begins getting angry at me and tells "me my employee said you were calling the cops," my answer was of course that's what you do when their a fraud dispute. How is that threatening? I proceeded to ask him why are you yelling at me and going back and forth with me, it's too early to be arguing. Continues escalating his voice, accusing me of drama and hostility' when he clearly is not a customer service manager. I drop the trying to get a word in and explaining to him that, that is the hotel I got linked with and that I was trying to get a hold of the correct hotel and it sent me here. My entire conversation I was trying to difuse the situation and explain that maybe that's how things came across badly. But nope, I was against a pit bull, that didn't want to show up early to work. I asked him sir can i just get your name several times? He refused. I called him back from my other line because he refused to give his name and denied my calls. This time I could not get a word in again, and after going back and forth, I finally gave him a good tongue lashing. Calls himself a manager, in such a delicate situation but the only thing he is going is managing his hotel to the ground. Do better!!

Dear Night Stayers I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay at your location while traveling from Arizona to Montana. The staff demonstrated outstanding hospitality from the moment I arrived. I was particularly impressed by their attentiveness and the fact that they provided breakfast for me even after the scheduled closing time. The level of care and professionalism shown by your team made my visit truly memorable. Please accept my gratitude for a wonderful experience, along with my heartfelt gratitude to the Super 8 by Wyndham family. Best regards, Burbank

Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Room temperature was hard to regulate, hot tub was nice and working (a problem we've had other places), the waffle mix was thin, making some doughy waffles, probly won't eat for our 2nd morning. A suggestion for pool room, some towels on rack would be helpful. Overall, price was reasonable and pleasant staff
