We had a very positive stay overall. The hotel is clean, well kept, and conveniently located near I-80, making it easy to get around to many SLC destinations. The tradeoff is that traffic noise is fairly noticeable in the evening, though it wasn't a major issue for us. Our room was clean and well maintained, the complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was well stocked, and every staff member we interacted with was kind and accommodating. Parking was probably our biggest inconvenience. The lot was more limited than we expected, and we ended up parking overnight in the restaurant lot next door. I was concerned about the possibility of being towed, so I got up early to move the vehicle. The shower also had very low water pressure—not a lack of water, just very little pressure—so rinsing took a bit more effort than it should have. **One unexpected bonus for me was the location's access to public transportation. There is a UTA bus stop only about 500 feet from the hotel's front entrance, which made it incredibly convenient for me to get around without having to rely on my travel companion for transportation nor rent a car for the 3 days we were visiting. All in all, our experience was very positive, and we'd be very happy to stay here again!!

If you're looking for an affordable, well-located, family-friendly place to stay, keep looking. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling with kids. I couldn’t not post a review about this place and our poor experience. The hotel is right off the freeway in a sketchy part of South Salt Lake, and there were people wandering around both inside and outside the property at all hours. We stayed for three nights and wished we could have gotten a refund and left after the first night. Every night between midnight and 3:00 a.m., a man was yelling in his room and making disturbing noises loud enough to wake our entire family. We called the front desk each time, but nothing was done. One time we were even told they couldn't hear anything, which simply wasn't true, you could hear him from across the building. My teenage son asked if someone was being attacked, and our 4-year-old was so frightened that she slept in our bed each night. It was a stressful and unsettling experience that kept my husband and me on high alert the entire stay. We made sure to be busy during the day so we’d all be exhausted, and only be in the hotel to sleep. Our experience started off poorly with a rude and unwelcoming front desk employee during check-in. The air conditioning ran constantly, yet the room never really cooled down. On our first night, someone even tried to open our room door around 11:00 p.m., which only added to our concerns. We also made sure to park our car where we could keep an eye on it because we didn't feel comfortable leaving it out of sight. If hotel prices hadn't increased so much that weekend, we would have gladly forfeited the money we spent and stayed somewhere else. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children or anyone looking for a safe, comfortable stay

I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in, they had upgraded me to a suite. My lucky night I guess. We got into town pretty late, but the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and happy to help. The room was very nice and clean. Everything worked great! No issues with tv, hot water, AC unit, charging outlets, etc. Breakfast was great too, plenty of options including scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and waffles (cinnamon roll flavor was a huge hit with my kids). The indoor pool was out of order sadly, but we didn’t have much time for that anyway, so no big. If you are from out of town like us you HAVE to try Crown Burgers down the street. They put pastrami on a burger and it’s epic.

The hotel seems to have been renovated and the overall environment is very nice. It was quite busy during my stay, and on one day the entire parking lot was completely full. However, the soundproofing could be better. In the morning, noise from people walking around in the hallway can affect sleep. I would recommend requesting a higher-floor room if possible, otherwise it may be quite noisy. Overall, it is still a nice hotel, but the noise insulation could be improved.

Great staff, great facility. Obviously new owners did a complete refresh. Awesome breakfast for a hotel. Brand new beds are a bit stiff but will soften up over time. Convenient location. Overall the standard for what a hotel should be.

Ive been traveling across the country 3 days now and haven't gotten a good night's sleep or had a good breakfast at any hotel until I came to this comfort inn. The staff was very hospitable and changed our room immediately when the first room had Marijuana smell strongly lingering. Everything was clean and updated and soap smelled awesome lol. Smallest thing I liked was a nightlife in the bathroom. Food was amazing.

Great stop. Very close to the freeway, convenient for guests just passing through. Joanne at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean. Breakfast attendant was great. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she kept that place really clean.

This hotel was renovated in the las my few years. New owners very kind and helpful. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. Beautiful lobby area and great breakfast! We were so very happy with our stay here! Great pricing and great value! For pet owners, there is also a dog park right next door.

Joann was absolutely amazing during our stay. We were there for a major procedure, and she truly went above and beyond to support us during such a stressful time. Her empathy, compassion, and kindness made a huge difference for our family. She treated us with genuine care and respect every step of the way. We are forever grateful for her support. Joann is truly a model of how every human being should treat others. Thank you for making a difficult experience a little easier.
