The DoubleTree Salt Lake City Airport consistently receives positive reviews for its convenient airport location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. While some guests note the hotel’s age and occasional maintenance issues, many highlight the exceptional service provided by team members like Steven and Nina, who go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
My experience at the DoubleTree Hilton is something I will never forget. After a long day at a soccer tournament, I placed an Uber Eats order for two pizzas, assuming they were fully prepared like a typical takeout pizza order. When I received them, I realized they were actually frozen pizzas. Although the mistake was mine for misreading the item description, the front desk receptionist kindly suggested that I ask the chef if he would be willing to help. To my surprise, Chef Jim J. went above and beyond by taking the time to bake and prepare both pizzas for me. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help after what had already been a long day made a lasting impression. I am truly grateful for the exceptional customer service provided by both the front desk staff and Chef Jim J. Their consideration and commitment to guest satisfaction exemplify outstanding hospitality. Thank you for turning a simple mistake into a memorable experience. I greatly appreciate the extra effort and care shown by these team members.
I had a great experience staying at DoubleTree SLC. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable from the moment I arrived. Even though it’s a busy hotel, everything ran smoothly thanks to the efficient and professional front desk team. I especially want to recognize Steve for his outstanding service. Steve was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help whenever needed. Steve’s positive attitude and dedication really stood out and made a big difference during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, organization, and excellent customer service.
I needed a hotel for the night, and the entire experience was easy from start to finish. Check-in was quick and easy, and the shuttle service was very convenient. The hotel itself is impressively large with a wide range of amenities. A special thank you to Nina at front desk she was just as wonderful in person as she was on the phone. She assisted me with such grace and compassion, which truly made my stay even better. The cookies were a nice bonus as well! Thank you.
The good- The location is great, lots of grass for my dog to roam around and play. The pond with ducks was really cool. I really liked the pillows and bed. The sliding glass door leading to the yard and pond was super convenient. The restaurant was pretty tasty and the server was awesome. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was really convenient. The bad- The rooms are just ok, everything is pretty outdated. The furnace filter in the ceiling vent was dirty and labeled to be changed back in 2024 and were completely covered with dust and dirt, it obviously never got changed. The shower would randomly get hotter and colder all on its own without touching the faucet handle. The towel hooks on the bathroom door were loose and about to fall off, the 70s style wallpaper was peeling off in multiple places. For the price of the rooms they could definitely use some maintenance and upkeep. The sliding glass doors' main lock didn't even work, it didn't have a security bar to block it from opening atleast. Pet fee is way more expensive than most places.
After traveling all day with flight delays, I arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton Salt Lake City Airport exhausted. Steven, Tina, and Isaac took care of the passengers quickly and professionally. They handled the situation very well and were still friendly and welcoming despite many delayed travelers arriving at the same time. The check-in process was smooth and stress free because of them. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. Exceptional service and hospitality. Thank you for taking care of your guests.
?????????? The DoubleTree by Hilton Salt Lake City Airport has become one of our go-to stops, and for good reason. Monica and I travel a lot — from mountain towns to beach destinations and plenty of airports in between — and this hotel consistently stands out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the finishes and grounds are well maintained, and the restaurant and bar make it easy to settle in after a long travel day. But what really makes this place special is the people. The staff here are genuinely welcoming and professional every time we stay. Nina and Lofa deserve a special shout-out — they always go out of their way to make guests feel taken care of and remembered. That kind of hospitality is rare these days and it makes a big difference. Even though we stay here often, the experience never feels routine or transactional. The team consistently delivers warm service and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Add the convenient airport location, comfortable rooms, and great bar and restaurant, and this DoubleTree has become one of our favorite airport hotels anywhere. We’ll definitely keep coming back. — Kevin & Monica
Steven at the front desk is the BEST!!! I had a rough day of travel and his welcome to the hotel completely perked me up- not only did I get a cookie but he made sure it was a fresh warm cookie! He had a great, genuinely friendly welcome and he took the time to explain the details of the hotel amenities, so I was left with no questions. The rooms are nice, the balcony suite is a great touch! It's an older hotel so I can hear my upstairs and across the hall neighbors as they open/close doors, but no worse than any other hotel. Overall I am looking forward to a great stay!
What a hidden gem. Good size rooms, very clean. Restaurant and bar have good optionsand variety. Love the huge indoor swimming pool and lake views. Front desk staff is a pleasure to work with. Especially Steven, he is so helpful with any requests and always has the best recommendations for things to do locally, yummy restaurants and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again.
I don’t say this lightly. This was the best hotel experience of my life. I’ve stayed in beautiful hotels and Airbnbs all over the world, but there is something rare and unmistakable about this DoubleTree in SLC. Every detail, even the smallest ones, was handled with intention and care. The staff were an absolute joy, especially lofa and Blake, and created an atmosphere that felt both elevated and genuinely human. This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a place you feel. I will truly plan future trips around staying here again. The energy is exceptional, the comfort is real, and the experience stays with you long after checkout. Ps. They deserve way way more stars!
SOFA & NINA My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton was made truly special thanks to two incredible employees: Lofa and Nina. From the moment I arrived, their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care stood out. They went above and beyond in every interaction, always with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude that instantly made me feel comfortable and at home. It wasn’t just great customer service — it was sincere hospitality. Travel can be exhausting, but Lofa and Nina turned my stay into a comforting, positive experience that I will always remember. They made a place feel like home, and that means more than words can say. Because of them, this hotel will absolutely be my first choice whenever I return. Thank you, Lofa and Nina, for your kindness, warmth, and for setting the bar so high. You truly represent the best of what hospitality should be.
