Guests frequently praise this location for its convenient setup near shopping, dining, and quick airport access, with many highlighting the premium service and fresh renovations. However, a split in opinions exists regarding the room experience, where noisy neighbors or cheap shower fixtures contrast with the cleanliness of the suites.
This hotel has paper thin walls so you'll hear every footstep your neighbors take. The front desk apparently doesn't care about people running up and down the halls. Grossly overpriced and feels very transient.
Awesome room with nice views. Cleaner than most Hotels I have stayed in. Lots to do and places to eat within walking distance.
We stayed here while visiting my sister for the holidays and had a lovely time. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Breakfast was really good for being price included, lots of vegetarian options and the woman who tended the breakfast buffet, Brazil, was so kind and friendly and made us feel like family. The front desk people were all very nice too. The lobby is cozy and was nicely decorated for the holidays. Couldn't have asked for more!
Found my home away from Home. One week stay 10 min away from daughter Is $1113. Great price 4 a Marriott. Front desk Tonga & Salote were exceptionally generous and accommodating!
????? Top-Tier Residence Inn Experience As Marriott Platinum Elite members with over 140 nights in their properties, we have high standards, and this Residence Inn exceeded them. It is, without a doubt, one of the best in the brand. The friendly staff, impeccably clean rooms, and beautifully kept grounds made for a perfect stay. Most impressively, it was incredibly quiet. The location was ideal for our concert at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, just a quick and easy drive away. Highly recommended—this is how every Residence Inn should be.
Well I have heard something not that positive from some friends stayed there last year in the summer. However based on the location and shopping/dinning options around and close to the Oval, plus its high google rating, I still picked it over another one nearby which is like $60-70 cheaper per night. To be honest, I am very dissatisfied with my overall stay experience. The breakfast selection is so limited and there's no all day coffee supply like some other similar standards of hotels. My biggest issue with the stay is the service/staff help. They made me feel like they didnt wanna work whenever I asked for small helps. Lastly, the housekeep service is way under basic standard. The bedsheets were even tucked inside the mattress every time after room service! And there was a day they came in very early at their mistakes(thought we checked out on a wrong day), then we told them come back later on but they never did. Considering the price I paid for my stay, I certainly do NOT recommend any of my friends to this place.
Great location for lots of food and shopping options. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Nice beds! The service and people were amazing! I had requested something through the app and they responded quickly and pleasantly! Had a great little treat waiting in my room and it was seriously awesome. I'm ridiculously Marriott loyal and it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. Traffic getting back out of the area wasn't the most fun BUT I'd stay there anytime and just deal with traffic.
For the price, the hotel checks all the boxes. Close enough to SLC airport and other attractions. Plenty of dining options in walking distance. Clean rooms, great staff. All around great in it's class.
I’ve stayed at this location multiple times. I had an uncomfortable experience. I had an Marriott employee entering my room unannounced after I checked in and occupied the room. The Marriott employee entered my room, thinking that it was not occupied or reserved. Sandra, the hotel manager told me that it was the time of the year that they clean the windows and replace the window screens. I would recommend just being alert, vigilant, and aware especially if you are a single female traveling by yourself. Definitely unnerving to have someone enter your room even if it’s a hotel employee.
The staff are absolutely fantastic! They are always very welcoming and nice to me which means a lot. I have to deal with racism often so it is refreshing to actually be treated like a human being. (Very sad that I have to include that in a review but racism is heavy in utah) Breakfast is great! Hot! The rooms are great also. Dishes, pots, pans, stovetop, large refrigerator, and a kitchen table. It has a home feeling and we take advantage of it cooking small meals. Thank you for your continued hospitality!?
