My husband and I like to “staycation” here a few times a year. It’s always clean, the breakfast is great and the rooms/bathrooms are spacious. The curtains do a great job at blocking out the light at night and the beds are comfortable. It’s also in the perfect location. Right by a shopping mall and lots of fast food places like In-N-Out, Panda Express and Olive Garden. You can’t go wrong with booking this hotel, whether it’s for one night or several. Definitely worth it and we will continue to rebook when we want another little getaway!

Overall, I’m giving this hotel 3 stars. The front desk staff provided excellent customer service, and my room was very clean, which I really appreciated. However, the property as a whole feels a bit outdated and could use a refresh. My biggest issue was the air conditioning in Room 700. It wasn't cooling properly and my room stayed stuck at 70 degrees. Maintenance came to my room three different times to try and fix it, but ultimately they couldn't. The last tech was honest and told me it’s because that specific room is too far from the chillers. Take my advice: avoid Room 700 if you want to be comfortable and cool! As for breakfast, the food is just okay. They do offer made-to-order omelets, but cooking them makes the whole dining area surprisingly smoky. It was a decent stay, but the AC issue and the aging rooms hold it back.

We recently stayed at Embassy Suites Salt Lake City West Valley and had a great experience. Traveling with two German Shepherds can sometimes be challenging, but the staff was incredibly understanding, accommodating, and welcoming to our dogs from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean, and our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. We also enjoyed room service—the portions were generous and the food was surprisingly good. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. The fresh omelets were excellent, and the chefs and breakfast staff were friendly and attentive. The location was another plus. It’s close enough to downtown Salt Lake City to be convenient, while still being far enough away to provide a quieter environment that didn’t overwhelm our dogs. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers with pets. We would gladly stay here again.

I had a really lovely stay here. The staff overall were so warm and welcoming! But I especially want to shout out Nancy at the front desk. She went out of her way to help me with something personal and was so kind and generous about it. Little moments like that really stick with you.

Overall, the property was okay, the rooms were clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. However, I did experience a few issues during my stay. I actually had to move from my first room because every time I entered the room, my eyes would start burning, which made it very uncomfortable. In addition, the light switches did not work properly, and the lighting throughout the rooms was very poor. Since the rooms are painted in darker colors, better lighting is definitely needed. The vanity light in the bathroom was also out, making the bathroom extremely dark, and I had to use the bar area in the room to do my makeup because it was the only area with adequate lighting. The lighting issues in the rooms definitely need to be addressed. My other main complaint would be the breakfast area. I stayed for nine days, and almost every morning, there seemed to be something missing or not properly maintained. At times, food items were not replenished, they were out of forks or bowls, and the coffee occasionally had grinds in it. I’m not sure if the issue was understaffing, as there appeared to be multiple employees present, but it seemed more like the breakfast area could benefit from better organization, training, and a more consistent system to ensure items are restocked and the area stays clean throughout the morning. Other than those issues, my overall stay was pleasant, but both the room lighting and breakfast experience definitely need improvement

The room was gorgeous, especially the bathroom and shower. I loved the layout and architecture. My only complaints were the ultra flat pillows and the cushions on the couch slanted down making it uncomfortable to sit on. The service was excellent from everyone we interacted with, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stayhere again next time I'm in the area.

The location is perfect for driving to other nearby places and less than a half hour Trax ride to downtown SLC and sports venues.The made to order breakfast Omelettes and other breakfast options are great. Our digital room keys never worked and the front desk said they couldn’t troubleshoot any such problems associated with the Hilton app. Good thing we asked for room key cards.

This is a really nice hotel. I didn't go to the pool or hot tub but they looked nice. The room 515 was so so nice. It wrapped around in a circle. Breakfast was AMAZING! It was the BEST bacon I've ever had at any hotel hands down. Hopefully it's the same every time.

Super friendly staff. Awesome breakfast. Wife and kids loved it. Great location with lots of restaurants close by. Under 45 minutes (with no traffic) to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts.

The front desk lady Annie who checked me in was amazing! She was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. After a long day, her positive attitude and helpfulness meant more than she probably knows! She made me feel truly welcomed. Thank you for such wonderful service!
