The Staybridge Suites Salt Lake-West Valley City consistently receives positive feedback, particularly regarding its family-friendly amenities like the splash park and indoor pool. Many guests appreciate the spacious suites, complimentary breakfast, and comfortable beds. However, some reviews note concerns about noise levels, outdated furniture, and occasional issues with breakfast service.
We low staying at the Staybridge Suites! It’s wonderful for families, dance competitions, cheer competitions, sport events or just passing through. The splash park is a kids favorite, but their breakfast is what does it for us! It’s fresh, tastes good, plenty of options and enough comfy room for everyone to sit and enjoy their meal. The service is always good and the front desk staff is available to help with whatever you might need. The beds are comfy, we enjoy the different pillows to choose from- and the rooms are spacious with well stocked kitchens. You can’t go wrong staying here!
We had such an amazing stay! This hotel is absolutely perfect for families. The indoor swimming area is a huge highlight—spacious, super fun, and very well maintained. It really felt like a mini indoor water park, and the kids couldn’t get enough of it! Everything throughout the hotel was impressively clean and well cared for, which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of nearby activities, dining options, and things to do—so we never ran out of ways to enjoy our time. The staff truly made the experience even better. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The only small thing that would make this place even more perfect would be having smart TVs or streaming options available in the rooms. But honestly, that’s just a bonus—everything else exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families looking for a fun, clean, and convenient getaway!
I would rate Staybridge Suites a 3.5?? for what it is. I stayed in a suite and was pleasantly surprised with how spacious, clean, and well-stocked the room was (complimentary tea, coffee, Tupperware, utensils, etc.). The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the housekeeping staff. The complimentary washers and dryers were great and the rooms were moderately quiet. The furniture was a little outdated, and the smell in the hallways was pungent sometimes - it is nothing that significantly affected my stay though. Since this location is close to the highway, you can hear quite a lot of cars, so keep that in mind.
I always enjoy my home away from home; The Staybridge. One night stay over weekend. The breakfast servers were super efficient and friendly. Bathrooms and bed were spotless clean. Although close to the airport and stores, This one was way too close to the highway, noisy traffic. The hotel is due for an update you can smell it and see wear and tear in the rooms.
I've stayed at this location a couple of times with my family. To be honest, the place is great. Their breakfast is excellent. The only issue I see at their breakfast is the 2 cook ladies always standing there watching, and I mean WATCHING everyone grab their food. Felt kinda weird tbh. But the food was fresh and good. When it comes to their rooms, I've stayed in their 1 bedroom and their 2 bedroom suite. The bedrooms are nice, Good size, and modern compared to other hotels in the area. Their beds are decent but their pillows could use an update. The bathrooms were nice and clean and so were the bathrooms. The living room in their suites is a whole different issue though, they're small and the furniture feels cheap, And tbh you'll feel cramped in there. The couches do offer a sofa bed though. The kitchen was semi-modern but everything was dusty. It looked Like the cleaning crew bypasses dusting off the entire kitchen. Aside from that, you get everything you need in the kitchen, i.e. fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, silverware and nice dishes to use for your food. The hotel itself is quiet and clean. Overall, its one of the best hotels in the area. Lastly, their indoor pool is awesome! Definitely recommend.
Hotel well taken care of from thelobby, to hallways, to the rooms. Flaws here and there but in general. Like the wall thermostat not working. Location seemed a little sketchy at nite, but no issues. Breaky was as expected as it was nice to see actual plates and silverware again. Service was my issue here. The desk staff was serviceable but little more, which leaves a deflated impression, especially when checking in at nite.
This is our favorite place to stay in Utah. We have a large family and the two bedroom suite is large enough to accommodate everyone. It's such a good value and so comforting knowing the kids are in the same room instead of next door. The pool area is the absolute best. As soon as my kids find out we are staying the night in Utah they ask if we are staying at the hotel with the water slide. They have so much fun that they fall straight to sleep when we get into our room for the night. In the morning, the breakfast buffet is fantastic. I have some picky eaters and even they are able to find more than they eat in their wide selection. The staff who stock the breakfast are great at keeping everything fresh and they never seem to run out of even the hot food items. The coffee is pretty good, which is a huge plus for me. Saves me a trip on the way out of town.
We really enjoyed our time and room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds outside were well cared for and it’s nice to have some fresh towels in the afternoon
Stayed here twice and definitely won't be back. My second stay was in a room where the heater didn't work and I was hot all night. Simply not acceptable at these prices. I probably wouldn't have left a review though but for the fact that the $50 hold they placed on my card is still pending over 2 weeks later. It looks likely to stay for the maximum 30 days. Again totally unacceptable. I stayed at many different hotels and Staybridge is the only one who's hold still sits on my account.
We had an incredible experience at Staybridge Suites in Utah! From the moment we checked in, everything exceeded our expectations. The suite was immaculate — spacious, beautifully designed, and super comfortable. We had a queen and a king bed, and let me just say… those beds were heavenly! So comfortable, in fact, that we accidentally slept right through their exclusive breakfast (which I’ve heard is amazing — next time for sure!). One of the absolute highlights for our family was the attached water park — such a fun and unexpected bonus! It kept both kids and adults entertained for hours. The hotel was spotless, the staff was friendly and professional, and we truly felt at home throughout our stay. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and fun place to stay. We’ll definitely be back! ?
