The Park Inn by Radisson Salt Lake City Midvale receives mixed reviews, with some praising its affordability and convenient location, while others express concerns about cleanliness, amenities, and outdated facilities. Recent positive feedback highlights the helpfulness of staff like Annie and I’khan, but recurring issues include a lack of consistent service quality and dated room conditions. Specifically, there’s persistent criticism regarding the pool area cleanliness, breakfast offerings, and ADA compliance issues reported by some guests.

We stayed there 2 nights in August 2026. Our room was big and good equipped with wardrobe, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, etc. The room itself was clean but the bathroom fan was broken - maybe this was the reason for the black mould on the ceiling above the bath tub. The breakfast was average or even below. They offer an outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. But the whole pool area was not clean and every single chair around the pool was broken. Finally the was dirt swimming in the hot tub. They should take better care about this area because it's not usable in this condition.

I. Khan was really friendly and greeted me quick and professionally when checking me in. The room was nice and for me quiet. It was easy to find my room. Breakfast was good. Nothing to fancbut got the job done with hunger.

The staff was super friendly and nice so nothing against them at all, but the room was a little worn looking (but seemed clean) and the included breakfast was SEVERELY lacking. LITERALLY only breads like waffles (no syrup or other toppings), powdered sugar mini donuts, and regular bread, and then oatmeal and 2 cereal options (nothing fun). No fruit or eggs or anything else, so I found that pretty frustrating when they say breakfast included/free.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Park Inn by Radisson, and I especially want to recognize I’khan for his outstanding customer service. From the moment I arrived, she was professional, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. She was attentive to every detail, quick to assist with any questions, and always had a positive attitude. Employees like I’khan truly make a difference and are a great reflection of the hotel’s commitment to excellent hospitality. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable and stress-free. Though this Inn repeatedly states they want to provide better service they repeatedly refuse to comply with ADA rules. Fortunately my credit card agreed and reversed the charges in my favor ? From other reviews I’ve read since I returned home I see I am not the first person with a service dog to be discriminated against and treated illegally by Park Inn I reserved the Executive Suite at Park Inn to stay with my service dog Wanda. We got in late. I wanted the Executive Suite for its jacuzzi tub(I see from reviews it probably doesn’t work) Upon checking I was told my pet was only allowed in a pet room. I said Wanda was my service dog not a pet and we had the right by law to stay in the room I had reserved. She protested that my pet was not allowed in any other than a pet room. I repeated that Wanda is a service dog and it’s not legal to deny me my reservation. She persisted, I was exhausted from the flight and the conflict and succumbed to her badgering I took the pet room. She said I could use their public jacuzzi. It had an out of order sign and even if it did work I couldn’t have used it due to symptoms of my disability. I relented but took the room. I had trouble sleeping due to the situation I put Wanda’s sheet over the bed and tried to sleep. The next day I bought a camping pad to make the bed softer but still couldn’t sleep well. I was still upset over the discrimination. The second day they complimented me how Wanda was such a good service dog. I tried to contact the Inn with no answer. Asked Discover to reverse the charges since they illegally denied me my original reservation and forced me to stay in a pet room. Expedia who brokered the reservation were no help, called the Inn talked to the proprietor who insisted he had the right to deny me the room. I sent him the links to the laws his business had broken. I sent him a short missive about my stay, the ada.gov paragraph and, site supporting my claim and the paragraph and web link from Utah’s state stance on this issue. I hope by reporting this to various authorities Federal, State, and Municipal, people traveling with service dogs in Utah will be better respected. I’ve since been very relieved that hotels in Colorado understand the law and state up front that service dogs and their handlers are welcome to any rooms available to be reserved. I will take my business there to make up for my horrible experience Park Inn Midvale

It was pretty nice. The rooms are a little worn, and you can hear most everything in the hallways, but it's not too bad. You're within 10-20 minutes of so many things and so many of the different cities that location alone would have me staying again! The staff were awesome

The front desk people were nice, Annie was one of them. One of the guys was funny too. Good people. However, the breakfast here is pretty underwhelming and not nutritious. It’s just a bunch of carbs with muffins, donuts, waffles, and toast, and apples. I was expecting tea packets and a source of protein like eggs or bacon, but we didn’t get it. Not saying it’s terrible, but definitely not my preference, so I would keep that in mind. Also, our room wasn’t all the way clean. The beds were clean. But there were a couple of pieces of hair in the shower and a piece of string/floss as well. So I was a bit weary to use the shower, but I did anyway. The location was cool. We’re next to a lot of gas stations and a couple of diners, so we ate well.
