The Embassy Suites by Hilton South Jordan Salt Lake City consistently receives positive feedback for its spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast, and convenient location near local attractions like America First Field and Loveland Aquarium. While cleanliness and amenities are generally praised, concerns regarding inconsistent staff friendliness and occasional issues with amenities availability are noted.
Really great place to stay for families. We were able to comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 kids in a room since it is spacious and has a pullout couch. The room was clean and the included breakfast was very good. Loved the omelette bar and other available options. The only negative I can say is that the pool wasn't super clean-- it was pretty cloudy but the hotel was fully booked when we stayed and there was a lot of sports kids staying at the hotel and in the pool. Very close to a ton of stuff-- America First Field, Loveland Aquarium, malls and dining! There's a target within 5 minutes.
Clean, well maintained and comfortable beds. The included breakfast was amazing. Great job by Lucinda creating mouth watering cooked to order omelettes with her special homemade salsa. Well done!
I am beyond disappointed with Embassy Suites South Jordan SLC, and not just with this specific hotel, but with the entire Hilton brand. I booked the aforementioned property for an important work trip. Just days before my arrival, I was informed they had overbooked and needed to cancel my reservation. The Director of Sales assured me they would rebook me at a nearby Holiday Inn, promising comparable quality and amenities. Given the extremely short notice and the fact that a major medical conference had made other hotels in the area nearly impossible to secure, I had no choice but to accept, given that my trip was of the utmost importance as well. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened. Shortly after checking into the Holiday Inn, that Hilton rebooked me into, I discovered an infestation of bedbugs in the room. As a result, I had to discard over $700 worth of personal belongings and scramble to secure a last minute room elsewhere at more than $500 per night. I raised my concerns with Hilton about the position they had put me in by canceling my reservation and placing me in an unsafe alternative, to my dismay they took no responsibility. I contacted Hilton Guest Services and was told there was nothing they could do. There was no compensation, no Hilton Honors points, no meaningful apology, and no accountability. This experience caused significant financial loss and emotional distress, and the complete lack of care or resolution has been incredibly disheartening. I will not be booking with this hotel or any Hilton property again.
So far the best hotel to stay at and they have the best breakfast you could ask for and it’s free when you stay. The room is big enough for our family and at a more affordable price. The beds are not the most comfortable we have slept in, but comfortable enough for the few nights we usually stay. Again, I can’t express how great the breakfast is. I always get an omelet. They make those fresh right in from of you. Lots of other options for everyone though. Cereal, waffles, yogurts, boiled eggs, bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and assorted drinks are the only things I remember because that’s all my kids get.
Clean rooms, good natured atmosphere, good hot continental breakfast and not like normally is anywhere else. Willing to have large groups use the lounge for a good time or meetings. They have great associates that are friendly and just amazing.
Took off a star due to the $10 daily parking fee. It was stated as I walked to check in but not made clear elsewhere but I understand now it’s standard for Embassy Suites hotels all over the area! The front desk lady also wasn’t the nicest. She seemed annoyed by me since I went in to ask where we could put the car as there were no open spots at 9pm Friday evening. Other than that, all other staff was so kind with smiles! Breakfast staff were considerably amazing too. The Rooms were so clean and spacious. I don’t like family trips because we get on each other’s nerves but the rooms made it so we could breathe a little! The pool was warm and so fun for the kids and I to swim. The location was awesome and couldn’t hear much from other rooms or the freeway at all. There was a train that went by during the day but my son absolutely loved that since he is 11months and could stand to see out the big windows. For a mom with a crawling baby and a preteen. It was amazing to have them enjoy the room so much too! I only wish we had a bath instead of a shower but we made it work. Will definitely be back here.
This was my third time staying here, the property itself is very nice but a few of the staff members i found to be a little lethargic and these me little niggling issues were repeated during our 5 night stay. Half full drinks glasses in the lobby bar left from the bar closing still there at 5 am, not a good look. Only 2 small coffee creamer capsules in the room every day when the room sleeps four people. Gym water cups always run out and have to go to reception every day to ask for replenishment. I think if they had staff meetings prior to shift change these are all issues that can be eliminated if they just pulled their socks up and were not so lazy. Each of these issues could be fixed in about 2 minutes flat yet despite repeatedly asking, nothing happened. Very frustrating. We did not get to use the hot tub as it was absolutely full of screaming kids that were staying at the hotel for a Hockey comp. Again, not a good look The breakfast remains very solid and the staff at the egg station and the servers are the all very nice. We all enjoyed the breakfast. There are a load of similar hotels in the area so we would probably stay elsewhere next time in SLC
This hotel is a notch above! The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is next level with made to order omelets… make sure you try La Cinda’s salsa to go with! She makes it fresh and has it available for the omelets. The staff were all very helpful and friendly as well!
My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton in South Jordan was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had recently. The receptionists/host at the front desk were friendly, helpful and quick. The room was clean and spacious. I had consistent hot water and the thermostat was easy and quick to adjust. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and will be returning.
I am a long time loyal Hilton Honors. I have been coming to this hotel for the last 4 years. I usualy travel to this area 2 to 3 times a year with each stay lasting 8 to 11 nights. The hotel is convenient and the employees were pleasant. The major problem was house keeping service. This time they serviced the room 4 of the 8 days. The 4 days of cleaning occurred only after talking to the desk personnel in the prior evening and in the morning. In addition, the bathroom lights flickered and the mirror light stopped working. The mirror light was fixed but stopped working 2 days later. These issues fit in a trend of Hilton hotels decline in their reputation. I will be planning 4 trips ( with lenghty stays) to this area in 2026 but it will not be this hotel and maybe not Hilton brand.
