This hotel offers spacious suites with impressive kitchens and is praised for its excellent breakfast and accommodating staff, making it suitable for meetings and group stays. However, aggressive cleaning practices have resulted in the theft of guest valuables, and several reviews highlight significant maintenance issues with the HVAC and plumbing.
We had a great meeting. The space was comfortable with beautiful windows. The rooms was well set up, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Jane was super easy to work with, so kind, responsive, accommodating, and made the entire process seamless. I especially loved that they allow outside food and beverage; we did soda and coffee through the hotel but were able to bring in a team favorite for lunch, which was a huge win. Highly recommend for meetings or group needs!
Nice room, quiet , clean. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking dishes ect. Breakfast was typical for free breakfast at a hotel.
Decent breakfast options, on site free laundry, and a pool and exercise room. Would have given 5 stars if not for not having any hot water one of the days. Staff is friendly and communicative. Francisco especially was very nice.
By far the nicest hotel with the largest rooms and little kitchens including garbage disposals in the sink and dishwashers! Hotels very clean, excellent breakfast. Super nice beds. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Excellent value!
Relax and refresh while the tree outside your window gently sways in the breeze, scraping the window with a sound not too dissimilar from nails on a chalkboard. Challenge your problem solving skills and fully explore your room as you navigate the 12 different light switches and two different thermostats. Appreciate the craftsmanship of the window shade repaired with staples. Drift away to slumber while the 3/4 size Danby refrigerator sings you to sleep with its rattles and vibrations against the tile floor. Give thanks for the burned out light in the bathroom which emphasizes that ignorance truly is bliss, lest you notice the mold growing in the shower, stained wallpaper, and rustic, er rusted, stainless fixtures. Experience the betrayal of the wireless phone charger built into the nightstand that seems to be working when going to bed but awaken to your phone at 30%. I empathize with a business that is clearly struggling/can’t afford updates, but if you want to pay to stay in the place where attention to detail came to die, Home2 Suites South Jordan is it.
This is a great hotel and we have enjoyed staying here. Free breakfast is very good and the offerings get updated daily which was a pleasant surprise. We had to stay here during a move and it is quiet, conveniently located and near food and a really nice park for the kids that you can walk to. Tucked away in the back of the complex it’s away from traffic noise and pleasant. The kitchenette is well stocked and I appreciated the cookies upon check in.
It has free laundry facilities, which is great. The sofa bed that my daughter slept on as soon as we opened it was clear that the sheets had not been changed because there were food scraps (snacks) on the bed. The refrigerator made a terrible loud noise. When we turned on the kitchen sink tap, water started leaking through the pipe underneath the sink and wet a good part of the kitchen floor. We had to put bath towels on the floor to dry the floor because we called reception and no one answered. There are games for children in the lobby, which we thought were really cool. The pool water had a very strong smell of chlorine.
What a great location. Friendly staff, clean spaces, in a convenient location. Thank you everyone for making my visit such a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend you give them a shot next time you need a great place to stay!
Room was great, breakfast was alright, housekeeping and staff- be warned- keep your valuables in a safe- I left a simple gold necklace here and their staff stole it. Called as soon as I realized we left it and was told housekeeping never reported it back. I told them I knew where it was in the room because I kept in the same spot during our stay and forgot to pack it when we were heading out. but they kept telling me sorry nothing has been found. Well - then that just tells me housekeeping or a member of their staff who has access to the rooms more than likely took it.
We have had enough of the disgusting Home2 Suites and other Hilton brands. You check in and the rooms are not properly cleaned. This time at this location, which we frequent very often, we spent the first 30 minutes just trying to get in our room because the keys worked everywhere but for our room door. We selected an ADA hearing room, and once we did get in the room we realized it was marked that but it was not in person a hearing room. When I went to put items in the fridge the Shelf on the door was broken in half and fell on my foot. The lamp next to the bed flickered the entire time and as always the lamp shades are torn up. They've done something to the volume and once you hit a certain level it won't even go up anymore which is really great when you need hearing accessibility. The carpets are covered in dark stains and appear to never be washed and all the years we've stayed here. Now recently, they have apparently started doing room surface again. The time before this they were in our room 4 hours after check-in while we had everything set up for working in our room and came back to find things moved around. This time I made sure to tell them we want no service the whole time we're there, I'm in the shower and someone's tapping on the door, oh yeah room service apparently no one ever told her. Then, today I find a $75 charge on my American Express because they've suddenly decided to charge for my service dog. When I check into these rooms I have to clean the entire thing we bring our own sheets and blankets and everything because it's never cleaned, we even vacuum on checkout day and the whole room is cleaned and stripped you should be paying me $75. I'll be disputing this. And no, I don't care about the fake rebuttal the hotel manager or Hilton is going to leave on this. Clearly they don't care because this is a systemic issue I travel east coast to West Coast and down south and this is systemic.
