The Home2 Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City/South Jordan consistently receives positive reviews, highlighting spacious rooms with full kitchens and convenient amenities like free breakfast and laundry. While many guests appreciate the quiet location and friendly staff, recurring concerns involve cleanliness issues, malfunctioning appliances, and, in one particularly concerning instance, theft of valuables. Value is frequently cited as a positive aspect of the hotel.
I stayed here for a 4-day convention nearby. Parking is plentiful and always felt safe. The hotel is bright, modern, and has an inviting lobby area. The room was spacious with a full kitchen, desk, and curtain that can separate the room into bedroom and living room areas. Housekeeping was excellent. It was so nice I often drove back to the hotel in the middle of the day to relax. Front staff were always friendly and the breakfast was above average with hot food options.
Check-in: July 2, 2026 Check-out: : July 3, 2026 One of the good reasons why my husband and I always like to choose a hotel where the location is near the office area and just outside a busy area is the quietness. We stayed at this hotel in the summer, a few days before Independence Day. By looking at the number of guest vehicles, I knew this hotel was almost full, but we were quite surprised because it was so quiet, and our room was just beside the exit door (not the main entrance). I went to the pool and swam for about 30 minutes, and when I worked out at the fitness center, no one was there. Maybe my timing was perfect. Let's not forget; two of the front-counter staff were also nice.
I had the most contact with Rae and Bella while on a work trip in UT. I think they both were great when I had questions and requests. Thank you ladies for a great experience.
We had a great meeting. The space was comfortable with beautiful windows. The rooms was well set up, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Jane was super easy to work with, so kind, responsive, accommodating, and made the entire process seamless. I especially loved that they allow outside food and beverage; we did soda and coffee through the hotel but were able to bring in a team favorite for lunch, which was a huge win. Highly recommend for meetings or group needs!
Nice room, quiet , clean. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking dishes ect. Breakfast was typical for free breakfast at a hotel.
Decent breakfast options, on site free laundry, and a pool and exercise room. Would have given 5 stars if not for not having any hot water one of the days. Staff is friendly and communicative. Francisco especially was very nice.
By far the nicest hotel with the largest rooms and little kitchens including garbage disposals in the sink and dishwashers! Hotels very clean, excellent breakfast. Super nice beds. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Excellent value!
My only complaint was you had to pull the door rather hard to get it to close completely and latch. Hotel is clean very a very friendly staff and the rooms are top notch especially for the price. And the young people working the counter were all very knowledgable about the area and offered good advice and recomendations while I was staying here.
Relax and refresh while the tree outside your window gently sways in the breeze, scraping the window with a sound not too dissimilar from nails on a chalkboard. Challenge your problem solving skills and fully explore your room as you navigate the 12 different light switches and two different thermostats. Appreciate the craftsmanship of the window shade repaired with staples. Drift away to slumber while the 3/4 size Danby refrigerator sings you to sleep with its rattles and vibrations against the tile floor. Give thanks for the burned out light in the bathroom which emphasizes that ignorance truly is bliss, lest you notice the mold growing in the shower, stained wallpaper, and rustic, er rusted, stainless fixtures. Experience the betrayal of the wireless phone charger built into the nightstand that seems to be working when going to bed but awaken to your phone at 30%. I empathize with a business that is clearly struggling/can’t afford updates, but if you want to pay to stay in the place where attention to detail came to die, Home2 Suites South Jordan is it.
This is a great hotel and we have enjoyed staying here. Free breakfast is very good and the offerings get updated daily which was a pleasant surprise. We had to stay here during a move and it is quiet, conveniently located and near food and a really nice park for the kids that you can walk to. Tucked away in the back of the complex it’s away from traffic noise and pleasant. The kitchenette is well stocked and I appreciated the cookies upon check in.
