This hotel offers a convenient airport location with fantastic staff service, but guests report dated facilities that require renovation. While some visitors appreciate the value and food options, others find the rooms grimey and prohibitively expensive for the condition.
Best hotel for the money in my opinion. Im picky when it comes to coffee and they have the best coffee. Sala was a stellar front desk employee, always exceeding expectations! Also just a genuine down to earth person, that made the stay there better. They also have a nice little cafeteria and bar area. The gym is small but very well maintained.
Rooms and room service are always good. The staff at front desk, the room service attendants, custodian, cooks at restaurant are all very attentive, happy to serve and do just that. You feel like family here more then just any guest. The bartenders and restaurant staff for breakfast and dinner are outstanding. Nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Easy park and enter the facilities yet a room key is needed to keep only hotel guests allowed to enter. 7 minutes from SLC Airport and 12 minutes to downtown SLC.
I arrived in the early evening on a not so busy day and was unfortunately placed into a dumpster of a bedroom in the back part of the building. I think this is where they must put the Priceline customers? The bed had minimal back support and was obviously very worn out. Fortunately it was a slow night and the person at the front desk was able to put me into a nicer room.
Sala and Lina at the front desk are the best!!! Been to this hotel back to back weekends and their customer service has been amazing! Breakfast was delicious as well. We def recommend this hotel!
I have stayed at this hotel a few times when traveling out of Salt Lake airport or for work and it's really gone down hill. Before I start, I will say the staff is great. Friendly and helpful, but that doesn't make up for the condition of the hotel. It's dated and feels grimey with a lot of things needing fixed. This time I am glad it was only for a place to sleep and nothing else, but this will be the last time I stay here. My room had an outlet pulling out of the wall with the screws accessible to touch. The bathroom was dingy and stained and just gross looking. There's definitely better options in the same price point, go there instead.
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and I do recommend it. The staff is welcoming, professional, and provide good service. The rooms are average with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, but the south side of the hotel is close to the highway and there is a lot of road noise. Also, my window had a blackout curtain, but no privacy shade so my room was either very dark or the adjacent hotel guests could look right into my room. The gym is pretty spacious with multiple cardio machines and dumbbells up to 75lbs. The pool is closed for winter however, the hot tub and the sauna are open. The included free breakfast is very good and the hotel bar and restaurant is convenient because there is not much else out in the area.
I spent a night here before flying out and paid the parking fee to leave my car in the parking lot. When I returned from my trip I had a flat tire - ugh! However, as I began changing the tire, Will - one of the maintenance employees - approached me and offered to help. My vehicle is a large SUV so his help was so appreciated! He made short work of getting the spare tire on and I was on my way in less than an hour. Will is a terrific example of outstanding customer service!
Excellent hotel. Front desk & breakfast service staff were exceptional. I was here for about a week for business (training for American Cruise Lines) and I felt right at home. The gym and jacuzzi were extra nice to have and the laundry room was a big plus. The shuttle runs 24 hours and this location is a cheap Lyft away from the capital, highly recommend the Ensign peak trail for an unforgettable view of the valley. When I find myself in this area again I will definitely be back. Thank you all for your kindness and true hospitality.
This is a holiday inn disguised as a Marriott. The breakfast was enough but could seriously step up its game. It was lackluster. I’ve had worse, I’ve had a lot better. The rooms were average. I noticed some mildew, floor stains. It is a couple minutes from the airport so I’d imagine this explains the tiredness. $250 was a lot to spend on this $100 room. The airport shuttle driver was on par and got me where I needed to be quickly.
Rooms were clean, front desk nice. The people in the kitchen were rushing us to leave because “there was more people coming” we were there for less than 30 minutes.Felt uncomfortable and not welcomed. Mid hotel ?
