The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Draper consistently receives positive reviews, particularly praising its convenient location near entertainment and dining options. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, as well as the friendly and accommodating staff. However, concerns about inconsistent cleanliness and issues with privacy have been raised.
I always stay here when I come in town for business meetings. Rooms are always clean and fresh. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast meets my needs.
Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful in our pursuit to find an extension cord to charge our bike. Nice restaurant (bar) next door within walling distance. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a relaxing getaway!
I’m giving the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Draper a lone star because the maid service is terrible. I was there for 4 nights. The second day after returning from a company event, my room was half cleaned. There were no new cups. The trash had not been removed. On return from my second day, at 4 p.m. (I departed the hotel at 7:30 a.m. that morning) the room was not even made-up! Bed not made. Towels not replaced. No sign of any cleaning at all. I called the front desk and they said all of the maids had left for the day. Thanks for the horrible customer experience, Marriott! I’m also a long-standing Marriott Bonvoy member. And if I get treated like this, expect the same. AVOID the unpleasant experience and book somewhere else.
My family got me a room for Mother’s Day here and it was quite a splurge for us; however, upon checking in the headboard was splattered and extremely messy from someone else’a good time. The room had a very dirty headboard from someone else’s satisfying night ?. The staff was nice enough to switch the room but I was surprised no compensation/discount was offered or dealt in return as it is priced as a nice hotel and hopefully this is out of the normal. It seems something more typically seen at a motel 6 or budget hotel. The more I thought I wish there had been a discount or even refund offered as it was a pretty alarming and obvious thing to not have been cleaned up. Because it was so obvious and still not cleaned, I then wondered what else was less obvious and not cleaned with other people’s bodily juices. Had it been a cheaper hotel I don’t think I would have batted an eye as I did get another room without hesitation, but since it was a Marriott suite room I expect a higher standard.
Really was a 5 star stay. But unfortunately I have to dock off 2 stars for privacy. We had left a do not disturb sign they had provided us on the door. We came back to our place and we had noticed someone was in there and had cleaned. Which is appreciated BUT. If you have a DND sign on your door- housekeepers aren't even supposed to knock. I know this because I was once a housekeeper. It really did kind of feel like our privacy had been invaded- even if we weren't there. It was very strange to come back to. Otherwise, great place to stay.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My daughter and I stayed for a gymnastics meet and the staff was able to get us into a room earlier than the normal check in. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and stores for items that the hotel didn’t carry. They were quick to fix a mistake on my account and followed up. The rooms were clean and large and the hotel was in a safe neighborhood. I recommend this hotel. Great for families.
When i checked in I was greeted by a gentleman named Steven. He was amazing! He said it was his first day but you couldn't tell. He was fast, efficient and professional. Best customer service I have had any any hotel. If you stay here ask for Steven, he is the best!
I'm really amazed by all a guest receives for the price! For me, the location was fantastic, as were all the employees (front desk, kitchen, cleaners, etc). I stayed for 10 days and my only irritation was the unnecessary noise coming from selfish guests.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott was a convenient and comfortable choice—close to my work location, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. The room was clean, and I especially loved the suite layout, which felt like a mini apartment—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and functional. Staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and my overall stay smooth. The only minor issue was the carpet, which looked a bit dated and could use some updating. That said, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and cozy place to stay.
