Guests consistently praise the DoubleTree Suites for its spacious, clean rooms and attractive interior, particularly the stunning atrium and full-service amenities like a full breakfast and indoor pool. However, a significant portion of recent reviews highlight severe operational issues, including persistent hygiene problems, poor housekeeping standards, poor parking facilities, and frustrating conflicts with front desk staff.

Wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Great location right by the freeway, with lots of places to eat nearby and directly across the street from Topgolf. The front desk staff was so polite and friendly, and the breakfast was on point. It was clean, with great options. Koby, who was running the show, was nonstop. She even gave our 5-year-old a coloring book and crayons. Koby was fantastic! Thank you so much!

The hotel is very nice. The location is good, right by salt lake city downtown (10-15min walk). There are a lot of restaurants around. There is a parking in the hotel which is super convenient. The rooms are great, big and always clean. The hotel staff are nice and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

I didnt realize its basically embassy suites. Nice place, good rooms, parking is a little rough. The room is was in had some damage to it. But they charge the "incidental fee" just in case and dont repair rooms? Idk. Still, good place. I'd go back.

This short trip started off with our shuttle driver April that suggest the best lunch spot Red Iguana, the checking process was seamless and easy with Nina and Lofa greeting us and getting us in early. Once we returned we had a little bit of a hiccup but this was definitely beyond rectified by Steven, Tina, and Naki which made this experience and stay 5 Stars! Highly recommended and will stay here again when I come back to Salt Lake City! Thanks everyone!

The stay was great! The room was clean and nice. My issue was parking fees. Informed of $20 day parking fee but when got my bill after was also billed per day $21.69 for "add on self-parking". That is ridiculous. No one offered to park my car for free! You need to inform guest it is actually a $41.69/day parking fee!!

Great hotel, clean, pool and parking garage avaliable at a cost (nothingtall though, Jeep Barely fit). I like how the atrium in the middle is completely open all the way to the top floor. Nice bar and resturant with a good selection of local beers. Staff was friendly. Shout out to Ivan at the bar. We stopped for a night cap and he was very pleasant.

The room and the location are fine, but the service quality is terrible. Yes, you’ll get the cookies upon check-in, but would that compensate for poor attitude? Absolutely not. They advertise it as a cashless facility, and yet the laundry room accepts coins only. We’ve already prepared enough coins for one round of washing and drying, but the dryer didn’t function properly. We ended up needing a couple more coins to get a second round of drying. We came down to the front desk asking to exchange coins, and they said they don’t have any until the manager came in at 11 pm. We came down again at 7:30 am the next day and they said the manager has left and no one has access to coins. Apparently none of them cares that we ended up with a whole suitcase of wet clothes.

The room we got this time is one we've stayed in before at this same hotel a year ago. And again nothing has been fixed. The ac had problems. And the plumbing is atrocious. The toilet barely flushes and the tub takes about 45 minutes to drain after an 8 minute shower. Still the same issues a year later. To go along with that the room wasn't even cleaned. Upon entering the room we found public hair all over the toilet. Looks like the beds were made and that's about it. We brought these issues to staff attention last year and we were told sorry and then no reply. No offer to change rooms no offer for a discount no offer to make any repairs nothing. So that being said i doubt bringing the same issues to staff attention again would fall on deaf ears yet again. I thought hilton hotels were supposed to be a better class of hotel. For 180 dollars a night it should be a lot better than what it is. Pretty disappointed.

As a Hilton Diamond member who stays at Hilton properties for over 180 nights per year, I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this location. Based on my stay, I cannot recommend this hotel unless it is strictly for work-related necessity. Despite paying extra for what was promoted as one of the better room options, the quality and service fell far below expectations. Key Issues Encountered: 1. Unexplained Charges Additional fees were added during and after the stay, including “miscellaneous” charges on the final bill with no itemized explanation. 2. Incorrect Breakfast Charges My wife and I were charged for breakfast nearly every day, despite paying extra and booking a room package that already included breakfast. 3. Guest Property Mishandled A housekeeping staff member discarded our unopened food bag from the room. The front desk acknowledged the issue and promised 10,000 points in compensation, which we have still not received. 4. Misleading Quality Rating The rooms do not reflect a 4-star standard as advertised — the condition is closer to what one would expect from a 2.5-star property. 5. Unprofessional Service The African American guy at the bar and the African American lady at the kitchen displayed noticeably poor attitude, creating an unwelcoming environment. 6. Ongoing Billing Problems I have had to call multiple times post-stay to have incorrect charges refunded little by little, despite them never being valid to begin with. Our bill was $1,401 for only 4 nights and yet we left disappointed.

We left a nightmare Airbnb a night early, and came across the street to this place. And wowww, this has got to be one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. The aesthetic, the staff, cleanliness... It's all uncanny. They have a full service restaurant, coffee bar open 6am-6pm, gym, and indoor pool. The lobby has got to be my favorige hotel lobby experience to date, with soft lighting and many places to sit, work, or enjoy time with friends. The view of the lobby from the higher floors is beautiful, as well. This experience made me doubt that I'd use Airbnb again any time soon, and just seek out more amazing hotel experiences like this one. Well done, Hilton!
