The Sleep Inn South Jordan-Sandy receives mixed reviews, primarily due to ongoing construction and renovation issues that disrupt guest stays. While some guests appreciate the friendly staff and included breakfast, frequent concerns regarding cleanliness, noise levels, and unresolved maintenance problems significantly detract from the overall experience. Recent reviews highlight persistent issues like bed bugs, cockroach infestations, and a lack of hot water.

DO NOT STAY HERE..... Can I give zero stars? - This location is terrible. They serve a decent breakfast starting at 6am. However, the construction on the building starts at 7am, even on Saturday and Sunday. I woke up to laughing in the hall way and pounding from the room above us just before 7am every day. The lobby and halls are filled with construction materials and dust. The pool and hot tub are closed also. My total stay was 4 nights. After paying for our room I was informed a $90 deposit was needed before we could have our room keys. I never received an email or notice about this until check in and after I was charged $360 bucks. Upon getting settled into the room I noticed wall paper falling off the wall and damage to the sheet rock. Yet, I was charged for a deposit? It's absurd to treat a guest that way. Being charged a deposit as if I would damage the room worse was an insult. To top it off, there was little to no hot water to show with. What little warm water there was only lasted for one person to shower quickly. We asked to have our room serviced on the 3rd day we were there. No towels or sheets were replaced and our room was not serviced. When we asked for a 1 night refund we received an apology. I was told their manager would contact me. That has yet to happen.

If you look at all my reviews then you know I'm honest and seldom leave what would be a "BAD REVIEW". Our stay in South Jordan - Sandy, Utah was a great time away from home for me and my wife but the room and facilities were not up to par. #1 - Had we known that the facility was being renovated we would have stayed elsewhere. Thank goodness we were away every day all day or it would have been horrendous. #2 - By 8AM the rooms above us were being hammered and beaten loudly. #3 - On February the 6th the water was shut off for hours, and the hot water was Luke warm at best. I think we were probably the only people there for our 1st night so hot water probably had to come from the other side of Sleep inn. #4 - We kept smelling something in our room each time we returned during the afternoons. Day 1 it was slight, but by day 2 it was very bad. We figured out it was a sewage smell from around the toilet in the bathroom. The bottom of the toilet was missing the tie down bolts on the left side and the small came from there. We ended up placing a hand towel around it and the smell dissipated after that. #5 - the shower door had no handle on the door, just holes. #6 - Please put new mattresses on the bed. In all sincerity that was the worst mattress I have slept on since we stayed at a horrible place in Macon, GA. The positives - The people running the front desk were absolutely professional and polite at all times. Our room was clean and decorated tastefully. The TV was fine and easy to figure out. We also had plenty of areas to plug in phones and such. Additionally, the breakfast was great and we enjoyed it each morning. Most of these problems were probably due to renovations being done, but we should have been made aware ahead of time or they should have stopped reservations. I would love to come back again after renovations to see if it has changed.

Experience is always based upon one’s perception and gratefulness in life. The love and kindness shown during our family’s stay at sleep inn south Jordan sandy go above and beyond what is expected from hotel staff and management. Thank you Mrs. Delgado for your professionalism and kindness to my elderly mother. To the maids and maintenance man, Thank so you so much for your smiles, friendship, love and kindness. To all the front desk workers may God bless you in all you do and may your dreams be fulfilled. To the owner, your staff are special and should be recognized for all they do. Thank you for a wonderful experience and stay at your business and may God continue to bless you in the hospitality industry and all that you do. Humbly a servant of the Lord, I am, Robert H. Brush

Our room had a broken toilet roll holder, the carpet was torn up in the corner. There was absolutely no hot water to take a shower, barely luke warm at best. The room had a funny smell. Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Will never go back.

Terrible Experience – Infested with Bed Bugs and Bare Minimum Amenities I have never written a negative review in my life, but this motel has pushed me to do so. It is the epitome of “you get what you pay for,” except it was far worse than expected. The room was extremely basic and cheap-feeling: only one trash can, a bathroom so tiny that I couldn’t even get dressed after showering without bumping into everything, and a heater that didn’t work at all. The entire motel had an unpleasant smell that lingered everywhere. Breakfast was inedible – everything tasted horrible. The hot tub had so much chlorine that my eyes burned badly after just a short time in it. When I needed additional supplies for the room (like towels or toiletries), the front desk was nearly impossible to locate. To top it off, the kitchen staff and housekeeping team came into the breakfast area, sat right next to guests, and finished off the remaining food, leaving little for actual paying customers. I figured I’d just chalk it up to a budget stay and never return. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it. When I got home, I discovered I was covered in bed bug bites and felt absolutely miserable for the next two days. If zero stars were an option, that’s what this place would get. I strongly advise against staying here – it’s not worth the risk or the disappointment.

Ok, so I needed a room for one night and found this place. Price was right and I read the reviews so I think I had a good indicator of how it would go. When I arrived, the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Got me in right away. Place is clean, some wear and tear on a few places in the room but keep in mind that they do allow pets. AC was a bit noisy but I did sleep. Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, sausage and all the cereals, fruits and yogurts as well. I got there on a tuesday and was planning on staying another night but the clerk (different person) knocked on my door saying that I needed to check out and they booked my room. They wanted to charge me double of what I payed the night before. This guy did not care and made it clear. I needed to get out. I will never stay here again.

You get what you pay for. I admit, for this price I wasn’t expecting much, but this hotel fully matches its cost. In my room I didn’t find any dirt, the towels and bed linen were clean, there was no unpleasant smell or insects. The hotel staff are polite, the guests are quiet, no chaos. If you want to save money and are fine with mid-range or below-average accommodations, then welcome.

Room could have been dusted better. They have started remodeling so anything else I could complain about should be fixed during that. People working we're very nice & helpful. Breakfast food & options were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here three nights last weekend and on the third night my wife yelled for me to kill a spider on the desk…… wasn’t a spider. It was a damn COCKROACH!! 10 o’clock at night. Went straight to the front desk pretty upset. Asked the dude if they had problems with cockroaches…. He immediately broke eye contact and played dumb. LIE!! It was a double bed joined room…. Only thing he did was move us to THE JOINED room next to ours…. Like cockroaches can’t crawl under the damn door. No refund offer. Nothing. Absolutely disgusting. Contacting Priceline to complain and HOPEFULLY get some compensation. I didn’t sleep one bit after that and had work at 5 am today. Complete waste of money. Should be taken off Priceline. Contacting the health department too since NO one called me today to figure out the issue. Gross. Not worth the money they charge either.

The staff were very helpful, the rooms respectable. The breakfast area was way too small with a poor selection of not very tasty food. Way too much dog poop from irresponsible dog owners, even though dog bags were provided. The area had not been cleaned in a very long time.
